Customer Reviews: Appealing and challengingMarch 6, 2010 Lynda Hunter(Sussex England) I bought this puzzle for my four year old grandson who is really good at jigsaws. At first I didn't think it was as good as some of the others I have got him...for example the Orchard Puzzles. This was because we also have puzzles which are excellent in encouraging discussion. The Charlie and Lola puzzle doesn't do this at all really but its value is in the challenge in finding the right pieces. Some bits are pretty straightforward as they are clearly one of the characters but the surrounding background is quite a challenge and is particularly good for helping develop spatial awareness. On top of this my grandson absolutely adores this puzzle.

Lovely big colourful pieces, nice and durable and a character that kids love. A perfect combination! However, my 5 year old could do it within minutes so maybe better for someone younger to grow into.

My four year old son is "jigsaw puzzle mad" at the moment and he was so excited to get this in the post. It has been a favorite ever since.
