Anyone who watches this show knows the songs are short, but they managed to put together a decent-length CD...they edit several songs together from the same episode. For example, "Oh Sheep-eee-hooo" is several pieces from Wonder Pets Save The Sheep. The producers did an excellent job putting this together, and the songs are easy for toddlers to sing to. They covered a fair amount of epidoes with this CD.
A lot of American parents are freaked out by Ming-Ming's speech impediment...I'm sure the show was trying to be endearing, but rather than view it as a negative, I prefer to think of it as a way to show children that not everyone is perfect, and there's nothing wrong with being different.
(I've worked with students who have speech impediments, and it wasn't because of something they saw on TV.)

Please listen to the sampler. I didn't and very excitedly bought the CD for my 2 year old who is obsessed by Wonder Pets. I didn't realise that the programme is dubbed with english accents for the Uk on Nick Junior. This CD is the original with american accents. It wasn't the same experience and we have sent it back (thanks amazon for being very understanding). Please make sure you and your child are happy with the sound before you buy it - I feel cheated. Doesn't look like you can buy an 'english' version yet - will be looking out for it!

This is not the music I normally listen to but as I have 6 and 2 year old sons it is music that I listen to when they are in the car with me and my wife.
For those who haven't seen the series Wonderpets is an animated series about a group of pets in a school who set out to save animal in trouble.
Songs are used frequently throughout the show when there is something to say and the songs are sang by the pets' voice artists in their wonderful children's voices and frequently slightly out of tune.
The songs are very sweet and my 2 year old in particular screams if we do not play the cd. It works well as a calming measure on car journeys and you find that you will soon learn all the songs as well!
