The little Pingu stories are delightful. Our small grandchildren watch them mouth-opened and ask for them again and again. Pingu's naughtiness, the charm of the characters and the setting and the ingenuity of the animation are just as much fun for adults. Some episodes work better than others, but here you have 24 at very little cost, and this DVD is a great bargain, really.

One of the great things about the original Pingu cartoons was the music. In this DVD, it has been replaced with tacky, inferior, irritating crap. I don't want to watch it anymore as the music was so important in the animations e.g. the records Pingu plays.
I hope to find a completely original Pingu series on DVD soon!

Pingu is easy to watch and as there is no language it encourages visual stimulation. My daughter loves Pingu and finds his antics quite amusing.
